Meet Jack! Jack is 5 months and one of the most adorable little boys Ive seen and photographed. When his Mom asked me photograph him I didnt even think twice about it. Not only is he cute but just as sweet, He was great and such a joy to work with. I just love his blue eyes and that sweet little smile of his. I knew he would take great photos and I am very happy with how they turned out!

This one is my favorite! Love his big blue eyes!

Meet JD - You will never meet another kid like him. He is spunky, outgoing, full of energy, and quite the charmer. He is a one of a kind kid! So when his mom asked me to take his 5 year old photos I jumped on the chance. I have photographed him before and had a great time. He is so easy to photograph because of his awesome personality and imagination. I can not believe he is 5. I remember when he was just a baby, it just doesn't seem right for him to be 5 years old and going into kindergarten. CRAZY! Time sure does fly by!

JD's dad is the head football coach at SBU, so you know he is all about football! Check out his awesome jersey!

I wanted to do something fun for this session and something I hadn't used before. So silly string it was! And I am so glad I decided to use it, it was so much fun!

Sweet Baby Addy! ~Bolivar Family Photographer~

I finally got my hands, or should I say my camera on this sweet baby girl! I was so excited for this photo session. I have now decided babies are one of my new favorite subjects to photograph. If you follow my blogs you would have seen Robert and Krysten's photos before. I recently did materinity photos with the two of them. You should see them now as parents. One word - AMAZING! Although I am not surprised, I knew they would be nothing but the best to their baby girl. Here is a sneak peek of our session.

I liked both color and black & white, it was too hard to decide.

I was so excited when I was asked to photograph these two again! They were a complete joy! Noah is 3 and full of energy. At first he did not want anything to do with having his picture taken, but he warmed up to the idea and I was able to snap some great photos of him. Bella just turned 1 and she was such a happy little girl. She was always on the go and always with a smile. So here is a sneak peek of our session.........

Today I photographed sisters Kallie and Kelsie. I work with their momma at school, so I was very excited to see and take photos of these girls. Kallie is a 2nd grader and as cute as she can be. She has quite the personality for such a little girl, I LOVED her bow! Kelsie is in 6th grade and is the complete opposite of her sister. She is more reserved and a little shy, but I think I was able to break her shell a little bit. :)

Look at Kallie, she loves her sister. So sweet :)

I love the 1st photo - Kelsie is blowing bubbles and Kallie is looking at me through the bubble wand :)

Kallie and Kelsie - I had such a good time with you guys. Kelsie, I hope taking pictures wasn't all that bad. I know it's not your favorite thing, but you did a great job! Kallie, you were such a good model for me, you did awesome!

Alley & Landon ~ DFW Photographer

Amanda, whose family I photographed (you will find them on the next blog page) on Friday the 25th brought along her friend Alley. Alley was so sweet and so photogenic. She has a 17 month old little boy named Landon, who was so happy and so cute! It may not look like it in these photos but it was pretty warm outside and we definitely sweated a little. So I wanted to thank these two for being such good sports! Here are a few of my favorites ...

DeGrazia Family ~ DFW Photographer

On my last day in TX I photographed The DeGrazia family in Keller. My best friend, Lindsey set us up and I can't thank her enough for it. This family is beautiful and they were so easy to photograph! Our first stop was Bear Creek Park and then we headed over to some old railroad tracks. Amanda and Joe have such a sweet little boy! Rylon is two and was absolutely adorable!

The Shabay Clan! ~ Colleyville Photographer

I've been quite the busy bee this week. Even though I've been super busy my photo shoots have been lots of fun, and this one was definitely not boring at all! Say hello to the Shabay Kids! Their grandmother (or Gigi as they call her) is my aunt, and when she asked me to photograph her grandkids I had no doubt it would be anything but awesome. Who wouldn't want the chance to photograph these kids? They are so photogenic! Here are my favorites from the day...

Chandler is such a sweet girl and very enjoyable to be around. It also doesn't hurt that she is super cute!

Next up Cassidy! She's got such a bubbly personality, and look at that smile - Beautiful!

Then there is Isaac (Cassidy & Chandler's little brother). Couldn't you just eat him up! Cutest 1st grader I've seen (and the most polite). I love his dimple!

Last but certainly not least, Sydney! Sydney is the oldest of the four, she may be a cousin to the other 3 but they act just like siblings. She is so sweet and pretty darn funny too. Not to mention she has some gorgeous eyes!

And here is how we finished off the day, jumping off the steps! See, I told you these kids were a blast!

Today I headed back to the Stockyards with one of my favorite little people, Claire! Claire just turned two in February and she is such a doll. She is so good and so much fun to photograph! Claire's mommy is my best friend so we know each other very well. So well that she calls me Aunt Cow, haha please don't me ask where she got it from but she is the ONLY one who can call me that b/c she is so cute! So here are my favorites ...

Couldn't you just eat her up! I know I could!

This is probably my favorite from the day. Look at that face! She loved the flowers, and she really loved pulling all the petals off and then smelling it.

Brooke Morrison ~ DFW Senior Photographer

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Brooke. I can not believe this girl is about to graduate and head off to college. I swear just yesterday she was a baby and I was lugging her around when and where ever I wanted. She was the cutest little dumpling! Yes, Brooke is my cousin. I was so excited when she asked me to do her Sr. photos. Brooke will head off to TCU in the fall. So this was our first stop.

Brooke is going to have so much FUN at TCU. While she is there she plans to study nursing. She defiantly was given the brains in the family. I love this next photo. Look at all those pretty tulips! TCU was such a pretty campus, I'm so glad we decided to go there. GO FROGS!

I can't decide on this next photo. I love the color one but I also love the B&W one. So here they both are.

Our next stop, the Fort Worth Stockyards! I wish I could find a place like this back in Missouri. It was so rustic and I found really cool old looking buildings. We weren't able to spend as much time as I wanted there due to over crowded streets full of tourist! But we did get some awesome photos.

Ok last stop, The Villages at Colleyville (I think that's what it's called). I discovered this place back in November when Zach and I needed a place to shoot our annual Christmas card photos. I fell in love with all the big wooden doors here, and you know me and chairs. Thanks to my mom I was able to use this cute zebra chair, too bad she won't let me take it back to MO w/ me :)

In case you didn't know Brooke is a STUD in softball! Last year her H.S. team (West Lady Trojans) went to state. Check out all the medals she has accumulated over her many years of playing softball! The one around her neck is her state medal, very cool!

Well there they are, some of my favorites! A huge thank you to Brooke for letting me capture her "senior" moments! I had so much fun! I wish you nothing but the best and wish you all the happiness and bliss next year as you start a new chapter in your life at TCU! Dang you are making me feel old, my 2nd youngest cousin is starting college. Where did the time go!

Does Fort Worth ever cross your mind? - Fort Worth Stockyards Photographer

Oh Fort Worth,TX how I miss you dearly. Today I had a photo shoot in Fort Worth at the Stockyards. After we had finished we headed out to the car. On the way we ran smack into the daily Forth Worth Herd. What is the FW Herd? Well, Texas Longhorns are driven by real Texas cowboys through the streets of the Stockyards. It's supposed to be a glimpse into the past. You can hear the jingle jangle of spurs, the rumble and grumble of the cattle, and the rhythm of the hoof beats on the brick covered roads. So of course I had my camera and was given the perfect opportunity to capture some photos! There was no way I could pass this up! So here are the few snapshots I was able to get.

It amazed me how calm these longhorns were. They moved so slow and never got off path. I wonder if one has ever gotten out of line and caused some trouble? It was very cool to see!

I was very excited to get behind them as they walked on and snap my last couple of photos!

While taking my last photo one of my favorite songs popped in my head - "Does Fort Worth ever cross your mind? Does Fort Worth ever, does Fort Worth ever, Does Fort Worth ever cross your mind?" Sung by the one and only Mr. George Strait, I love him! Maybe one day something will come over Zach and he will move me back to the place I love and call home. But, for now I will just enjoy my photos and keeping hoping for my "one day".

Today I had the pleasure of photographing Krysten and Robert Clardy, and Krysten's baby bump. I have known these two for a while. Robert coaches with Zach so we (Zach and I) are very excited for them. They are expecting their first baby in early April, sweet little Addyson Isabelle. I myself can not wait to meet her! This child will be gorgeous! How could she not be with these two as her parents. I had a really hard time narrowing down to my favorite photos, but I managed. So here they are!

Robert is probably going to kill me for putting these on my blog. But I love them! He was such a good sport and I love the end result.

I love this photo. Krysten looks so pretty! Such a cute little bump she has!

I cant wait till Addy is here and I can actually photograph her in these cute Nike Shoes!

Thank you Krysten and Robert for allowing me to capture this very exciting time in your life, I cant wait to see you two as parents. You guys will be great!

Winter Blizzard 2011

Woo Hoo! My first real blog post! I have decided, since most photographers have a blog, that I should start one too. So here it is, my blog, the place I will share all my most recent photos.

Today brought the most wonderful winter storm our way here in Missouri (I'm being sarcastic ). Since I had been stuck inside all day I decided it was time to get out. So I grabbed Sasha (my sweet dog) and my camera. Sasha Usually loves the snow but today it was much deeper then usual and she wasn't so sure about it.

Being from TX I have never ever seen snow so deep! Sasha looked like she was swimming while digging her way through it.

I'm not sure how accurate this is but this was how much snow accumulated outside where we were. Most snow I have ever seen, a little over 11 inches!

She was happy to get back inside and take one of her daily naps. She's kind of a spoiled brat :)
